Ticket Terms and Conditions

• Tickets can be purchased online or on-site.
  A ticket is valid only on the day of purchase or the selected date for online purchases.
• Tickets may not be resold to third parties or used for commercial purposes.
• No Refunds: Refunds will not be issued in case of cancellations or adverse weather conditions. The ice rink’s operation is weather-dependent, and disruptions caused by weather do not entitle ticket holders to refunds.

2. Cancellations and Changes

• We reserve the right to cancel or amend access to the ice rink due to force majeure, safety concerns, or technical reasons. In such cases, alternative dates or appropriate compensation may be offered.

• For tickets that include skate rental, skates in various sizes are provided. While we strive to ensure quick access to the correct sizes, during busy periods, some sizes may temporarily be unavailable. We appreciate your patience.
• Rented equipment must be handled with care.
• It is prohibited to leave the premises with rented skates or helmets.
• Personal skates may be used if they are well-maintained and safe for use on the ice. However, speed skates and clap skates are prohibited to prevent damage to the ice and ensure safety for all skaters.
• We reserve the right to refuse the use of personal skates at any time, regardless of the reason.

4. Safety and Conduct

• Wearing gloves is mandatory for safety purposes.
• Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
• Sharp objects or dangerous items are prohibited on the ice.
• Always follow the instructions of staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from the ice without a refund.
• To maintain a pleasant atmosphere, we request that all visitors behave respectfully towards others on the ice.

5. Liability

• The ice rink is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
• Participation in skating activities is at your own risk. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries unless caused by gross negligence on our part.

6. Skating Ticket (Including Skate Rental)

• This ticket grants access to the ice rink and includes skate rental. Refer to the skate rental terms above.

7. Skating Ticket (Including Skate Rental) and One Hot Chocolate with Whipped Cream

• This ticket grants access to the ice rink, skate rental, and one hot chocolate with whipped cream. The hot chocolate can be collected from the catering area on the day the ticket is used.
• The ticket cannot be redeemed for other beverages.
• No refunds will be provided if the beverage is not collected.
• The beverage is valid only on the day the ticket is used and cannot be claimed or compensated on a later date.

8. Children’s Party Group Ticket (10 People, Including Skate Rental)

• This ticket is valid for groups of 10 participants aged 3–13 years.
• At least one adult supervisor must accompany the children on the ice and must be included in the group count.
• Includes skate rental for all participants. Refer to the skate rental terms.
• Includes one glass of lemonade per person. The ticket cannot be redeemed for other beverages.
• No refunds will be provided if the group size changes.

9. Children’s Party Individual Ticket (Including Skate Rental)

• At least one adult supervisor must accompany the children on the ice and be included in the group count.
• Includes skate rental. Refer to the skate rental terms.
• Includes one glass of lemonade. The ticket cannot be redeemed for other beverages.

10. Group Ticket (10 People, Including Skate Rental)

• This ticket is valid for groups of 10 participants or more.
• Includes skate rental for all participants. Refer to the skate rental terms.
• No refunds will be provided if the group size changes.
• The group ticket consists of 10 individual tickets, and it is not necessary for all participants to arrive simultaneously.

11. Visit Pass (Including Skate Rental)

• This pass grants access to the ice rink for 10 individual visits.
• The pass is not personal and can be shared among multiple people.
• Each visit requires presentation of the pass at the entrance to deduct one entry.
• Unused entries are non-refundable.

12. Season Pass – Personal (Including Skate Rental)

• This pass grants unlimited access to the ice rink during the skating season.
• Includes skate rental. Refer to the skate rental terms.
• The pass is strictly personal and non-transferable.

13. Skating Lessons (Including Skate Rental)

• These lessons include skate rental and are led by professional instructors. Refer to the skate rental terms.
• Lessons consist of a series of 3 consecutive sessions over 3 days. Enrollment covers the entire series; single sessions are not available.
• Enrollment is personal and cannot be shared among multiple participants.
• Lessons must be attended at the scheduled times and dates. Rescheduling is not possible.
• Late arrivals or absences cannot be compensated or refunded. Absences must be reported to schaatsen@ijsbaanmuseumplein.nl at least 24 hours in advance.
• Wearing gloves and a helmet is mandatory during lessons.
• Personal ski or bicycle helmets are allowed, and helmets are available to borrow at the ice rink if needed.

14. Photography and Video Recording

• Photos and videos may be taken during your visit for promotional purposes. By entering the premises, you consent to the use of such material.

15. Privacy

• All personal data collected during ticket purchases will be handled confidentially and used solely for administrative purposes and communication related to your visit.
